Collaborating with the medical leaders of UCSD Health Systems, Calit2 and Cognitive Sciences, CAVE technologies and observational methods are being used to evaluate design with the objective of improving the quality of care and minimizing error by design.

Dynamic sound sources using context relevant (clinical conversations and sounds) are simulated in the StarCAVE using newly developed SoniCAVE TM technologies that allow clinicians and designers to both see and hear the consequence of different design options.
